Getting Married

The wedding date is Friday, May 25 @ 6:30. 

This page is intended to help all of our out of town guests figure out where they are going to stay and what they are going to do while in “the ‘Ville.” Maps, hotel sites, and points of interest as well as, ahhem, wedding registry, coming soon.

February 1, 2007 – HOTELS

We have not done a room block as yet but we are working on it.  Since it is Memorial Day weekend and Abby Road on the River is going on, most places already have a discounted rate and seem to be reluctant to block rooms if we don’t have the wedding there. 

Since all of the festivities are taking place downtown, we suggest booking at one of the following hotels.  Except for the church, everything is within walking distance and we have a great little trolly that takes you all around downtown for a quarter.

February 7, 2007 – REGISTRY

For those of you wondering what to get us (other than Star Trek paraphanalia, of course), here are our Honeymoon registries:

The Honeymoon:  A honeymoon registry, of course.  When the page opens, type “Minnick” into the name section and click ”May 2007″ on the date.  Check out our wedding webpage as we will be adding to it.  For those of you who are wondering, the picture we posted is from our Vegas trip when we went to an Oxygen bar for the first time. 

Honey Fund: If I were coming to this wedding as a guest, I would use this registry instead.  For the record, Jaclyn’s mother thinks the previous one is a scam (see her comment on the main page).

Amazon: Fred is really hoping someone will pick the bottle of Brut! Somehow we feel obligated to put a toaster on there.
